The QuickTime codecs 2.3 released with Avid Media Composer 5.x, Avid Symphony 5.x, and Avid NewsCutter 9.x. QuickTime Codecs 2.3.2 LE is an update to that codecs package, and can be downloaded below. This codec package contains all of the changes made in codec package 2.2.1 and 2.3.

Avid today reported revenues of $165.1 million for the three-month period ended September 30, 2010, compared to $152.1 million for the same period in 2009. One thing that I’ve never quite understood about Adobe After Effects is why it doesn’t come straight from Adobe with a full mix of built-in video scopes. The application does so much and is sometimes used as a finishing tool, yet Adobe has never added scopes. Software scopes are a reality, included in everything from Final Cut Pro to Premiere Pro.
