Catfish is one of the fall season’s "hot docs," erupting out of Sundance, earlier in the year, with its quite-now tale of trying to assemble a persona in an age where everybody has numerous public ones – nervously tended to on multiple devices (like, say, the iPhone on which you’re reading this) – but few private, or "interior" ones.
