It's hard to convey the sheer brilliance of the seminar a lucky few of us had the chance to attend last night. I've seen glimpses of this type of information, namely in two places, Peter D. Marshall's directing course and in an introductory speech by Professor Daniel Jacobo from Chaffey College on the Tao of Super 8.

iStoragePro has been on my radar for the past year. I had an opportunity to run their "Pocket View" setup and was pleasantly surprised to find a rugged and fast Raid configurable portable unit I could take anywhere. Last year, I reviewed their Pocket drive, and was impressed by it, so I sure anticipated that this setup wouldn't disappoint ... and it didn't. Looks nice with a MacBook Pro, too!

ALT Systems, a full service systems integrator and workflow solutions provider, has appointed Bruno Munger as director of technical sales. Munger will collaborate with ALT Systems’ customers to design workflow systems, integrate hardware and software, and adapt technical infrastructures for the most demanding postproduction and visual effects work.
