Still Image Color Profiles in Final Cut Pro X

I was working off a rough cut that my partner did on her iMac. sidenote I have instituted the use of Sparse Disk Bundles for collaboration and archival workflow. I digress, she had added some still shots that on her screen looked fine. However on mine i got this.

In this Final Cut Pro X transition the incoming clip is divided up into a series of concentric shapes which fade in over the outgoing clip.
