LOS ANGELES – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have announced that 20 films are now in the running in the “Visual Effects” category for the 91st Academy Awards (oscars.org). Nominations for the 91st Academy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, and the 91st Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 24th.

Director David Mackenzie shot on location in Scotland, with the aim of making every aspect of the film as historically accurate as possible.
