Award winning filmmaker Alexander Payne has been selected by the board of directors of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) to be honored with the organization's prestigious Golden Eddie filmmaker of the year award. The award will be presented at the 62nd Annual ACE Eddie Awards ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 18 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
