Cue sheets are a fairly bread and butter part of an online editor's life. The last thing I do when I've completed an online job is to printout a copy of the show's cue sheet and place it in the box with the tape.

Placed on our facebook this video (Mostly black signal) will get a good laugh at from anyone who has had that approval person who just finds the most rediculous hoops for you to jump through to get approval.

The Manhattan Edit Workshop has done a major update on their website. It now has less flash allowing us to link directly to their audio and video content. We will be doing this as things progress.

The inspiration for the creation of this group is the international publication of "Cutting Rhythms: Shaping the Film Edit" by Dr Karen Pearlman, Head of Screen Studies at the Australian Film Television and Radio School and Co-Artistic Director of The Physical TV Company in Sydney, Australia. The book is being published by Focal Press, America’s leading publisher of books on film and media.

It was just over a year ago when I posted a post that began the "Twitter about editing" experiment. I had signed up for Twitter around a year before that but really never used the service since I didn’t have a good group to follow nor did I really know what to talk about.
