    Ever since entering the entertainment business as an adult (meaning after film school, because before, we had no idea what NAB was, nor had any money to make the trek to Vegas...), I've made an effort to see the show. Now, attending for my 15th year, I realize that the show itself is much like my experiences fishing with my dad. Early on, in both scenarios, it was a magical world.

      NEW YORK — Editorial company Whitehouse Post has added Caitlin Grady as executive producer of its New York office. She joins the company after spending nearly a decade at Bug Editorial. There, she collaborated with a number of agencies, including Opperman Weiss, Arnold Worldwide, Merkley + Partners, Hill Holliday and McKinney while overseeing post production for brands such as Bacardi, Mercedes, Audi, NASCAR, Chobani and Cadillac.

      Design/VFX studio Infinite Fiction launches in Dal

      DALLAS — Republic Editorial has launched Infinite Fiction (www.infinitefiction.tv), a sister studio that will focus on design and visual effects. The company has also hired industry veteran Joey Cade, who will serve as executive producer. Infinite Fiction will be managed by Republic partners Carrie Callaway, Chris Gipson and Keith James. The studio’s work will include high-end, narrative-driven motion design and visual effects work for all platforms, including virtual reality.

      MINNEAPOLIS & REHOVOT, ISRAEL — Stratasys Ltd. (www.stratasys.com), the 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions company, announced that its full-color, multi- material J750 3D printer played a key role in UK supermarket giant, Sainsbury’s, 2016 Christmas TV advert. Shot entirely as stop-frame animation, The Greatest Gift TV spot features a number of different characters, the faces of which were all produced on the Stratasys J750 3D printer by 3D Print Bureau and Tri-Tech 3D.
