I found a very cool little site that tests your ability to match a specific color based on hue, saturation and brightness. At first, I thought it was just kind of cute, but the more I played it, the more valuable I felt it was to improving your skills as a colorist.

Canada's Rogers Communications has announced 2016 live sports broadcasting in 4K HDR, and Europe's broadcasters are shooting in 4K if not yet delivering in it. If you're in the SF Bay Area, get hands-on with Sony's 4K kit at the Digital Cinema Society's preso in Fremont on Tuesday, October20.

When you shoot a fast-moving object with a longer shutter time (half of the frame’s duration is the typical “filmic” setting), you will get natural motion blur.
