      Avid on Using Final Cut Pro with Isis...

      The management team at Avid has spent a lot of time spreading a message about a new "openness" initiative at the company, and one of the first concrete embodiments of that philosophy is the decision to support customers' use of Final Cut Pro on Avid's Unity MediaNetwork and Isis shared-storage systems. (Avid doesn't want to say which third-party tools, specifically, they're looking at now, but the most logical next step would be to qualify Adobe's CS4 suite of creative apps.) StudioBytes...
