I'm getting tons of requests on Twitter and FaceBook and user forums for Videoguys to do a DIY Hackintosh guide. I'm not sure if we can pull this one off, and I'm also quite concerned about getting sued by Apple if we do it. I got a TON of heat from Cupertino back in June of 2011 when I called it like I saw it, and predicted the Fiasco that FCPX would be.

To say that Final Cut Pro X - Apple's long awaited update to Final Cut Pro 7 - caused a bit of a stir when it was released is a massive understatement. Loyal Apple editors had been brimming over with excitement after the company previewed FCP X on the sidelines of NAB at the Final Cut Pro User Groups Supermeet exactly a year ago.

Judging by the user interface of Final Cut Pro X and MacOS X Lion, it seems that Apple want to move us away from accessing complex file systems and letting us manage our projects from within full-screen applications.

Shooting the highest resolution is optimal in most situations, but often you are limited by what your editing system can output. AJA has made a device called that T-Tap that can output from any Thunderbolt activated Mac via HDMI or SDI to up to 2K resolution.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Review - It wasn't really that long before we had CS5.5 (or time just flies?), so some of you may be wondering whether the CS6 is worth the upgrade. I haven't looked at the other applications inside the package apart from Premiere Pro and Audition, but Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 is definitely a worthy upgrade from CS5.5!
