When directors Josh and Jason Diamond called Juan Salvo to color and finish "Share it Maybe," the music video spoof of the pop hit "Call Me Maybe," Juan knew he had the perfect tool for the job. As part of the private beta for Blackmagic Design's Resolve 9, he was able to turn the Cookie Monster into the perfect shade of blue and tackle other challenges, with the lightning speed turnaround that the viral video required.

Max Payne is the latest example of Hollywood’s yen for adapting the video game for the silver screen. With Mark Wahlberg in the title role and directed by John Moore, this thriller—which also stars Mila Kunis, Beau Bridges, Ludacris and Nelly Furtado—was shot in 35mm 3-perf in Toronto.

Although primarily a documentary editor Lindi Harrison has worked across some very challenging projects, including large website developments, Museum exhibitions and even the hugely ambitious 12 screen Sydney Olympic Games Presentation. Lindi's recent work included editing Tim Slade's highly acclaimed 4, where she weaved the magical work of four outstanding violinists to Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.

Now that the dust has cleared and we will be seeing lots of popular movie titles on Blu-ray discs for our home entertainment, there are lots of directors and DPs stopping in at film restoration shops to see how their work looks all cleaned up, in 1080p HD and with their deleted scenes reinstated.
