Films can be shot in Toronto or Montreal or Mumbai. They can be set in Ireland, Indonesia or on Mars. But they are all made in the same small place: the editing suite. It's where good performances and bad ones are created — for better or worse.

South Park creator’s Matt Stone and Trey Parker directed, produced, voiced, and cowrote (along with Pam Brady) the picture. The editor was John Venzon, ACE, who prior to this had edited two other feature-length motion pictures (Almost Blue, Double Obsession). Venzon had to honour the high energy of Stone and Parker’s narrative to give the ideas and wit clarity and impetus.

Almost all classical music available from music libraries is simply licensed from record labels; the recordings are really designed for home listening. As far as we are aware, no one has ever undertaken the huge task of arranging, recording and mixing the key repertoire specifically for media use – and certainly not using big orchestras, choirs and top soloists at Abbey Road Studios.
