Since my recent switch from Final Cut Pro to Premiere Pro, I have had to make slight adjustments to my backup and archiving workflow. The main reason for this is Premiere Pro's ability to work with native formats.

Over the past few years, I have noticed an increase in the amount of sizzle reels I find myself working on. Sizzle reels, for the purposes of this article, are 2-5 minute videos that utilize a variety of assets (video and audio clips, newspaper/online articles, and corporate messaging) to create a high-energy overview of marketing campaigns, product launches, services, or key messages intended for a specific target audience.

Rich has recently written a series of glowing posts on his experience switching from Final Cut Pro to Premiere Pro, and Marc took a look at the economics of subscribing to Creative Cloud. Not surprisingly, he found that it's a great deal for anyone who uses more than a couple Adobe tools in their workflow.
