    Here’s a crazy fact that’s making the rounds on the Internet: if you live in Australia, it’s currently cheaper for you to fly to the US and back to purchase a copy of Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection than to purchase it in your own country.

      Oscar Winning Sound Mixer Rudloff Dead at 63

      Gregg Rudloff, who won Academy Awards for sound mixing “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Matrix,” and “Glory” and was nominated four other times, died in Los Angeles on Jan. 6. He was 63.

      Baumann and Coogler discuss VFX oscar Potential

      Before the game-changing Black Panther, visual effects supervisor Geoffrey Baumann had worked on a number of Marvel projects, supervising computer graphics and second unit work before earning his current title in this domain. A BAFTA nominee this year, shortlisted by AMPAs as well for Best Visual Effects, Baumann had one mandate from director Ryan Coogler, when it came to his first blockbuster: Above all else, Black Panthershould hold true to Africa.

      British Academy Film Awards have been announced, with period dramedy The Favourite leading with 12 nominations — including Best Film, Director (Yorgos Lanthimos), Leading Actress (Olivia Colman) and two for Supporting Actress (Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone). Bohemian Rhapsody, First Man, Roma and A Star Is Born each have seven nominations; Vice has six; BlacKkKlansman has five; Cold War and Green Book have four; and Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Mary Poppins Returns Mary Queen of Scots and Stan & Ollie have three nominations each.
