    EWTN Chooses Teranex 2D Processors

    Blackmagic Design today announced that Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), a global Catholic network and the world’s largest religious media outlet, is using seven Teranex 2D Processors at its Irondale, Alabama headquarters for up conversion, aspect ratio conversion, frame syncs and PAL to NTSC standards conversion.

      Viddsee Uses Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro on New Mothe

      Blackmagic Design today announced that award winning Singapore-based short film director Daniel Yam shot his new short film, “Time,” using URSA Mini Pro and completed color correction using DaVinci Resolve. The film marks Viddsee’s first original short film, which was commissioned as part of Viddsee’s partnership with the Singapore Film Commission, a division of Singapore’s Info-Communications Media Development Authority.

      URSA Mini 4K Used on Hit Japanese Film

      Blackmagic Design today announced that URSA Mini 4K EF was used for shooting visual effects (VFX) shots for popular filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki’s latest hit film, “A Man Called Pirate (Kaizoku to Yobareta Otoko).” The RAW footage from the URSA Mini was debayered using DaVinci Resolve Studio and then used for compositing.

      Flesh and Blood Graded with DaVinci Resolve

      March 14, 2017, 1:40 pm
      2017 South By Southwest (SXSW) debut film “Flesh and Blood” was shot with several of Blackmagic Design’s digital film cameras, including URSA Mini 4.6K, Production Camera 4K and Pocket Cinema Camera, by DP Patrice Lucien Cochet. Producer and Post Production Supervisor Dustin Hughes also used Blackmagic Design’s professional editing, color grading and finishing solution DaVinci Resolve Studio to color grade the film, as well as Fusion for visual effects (VFX) work.
