These include tools used in the production of major motion pictures, including Magnopus’ Tycoon Virtual Production System, which helped create Disney’s “The Lion King,” and Skydance/Paramount Pictures’ multi-format production technology, which was used on Ang Lee’s upcoming “Gemini Man,” starring Will Smith (pictured above, with Mary Elizabeth Winstead).

      Avid Advise Users Not To Upgrade To Catalina Yet

      Recently Avid chose to email their users to advise them not to upgrade to iOS 13 if they were using the Pro Tools Control App. Now Avid has emailed their users again, this time to advise us not to upgrade to macOS Catalina if we use Pro Tools, Media Composer or Sibelius. At 771 pages, it would make a daunting TV miniseries – and director John Crowley managed to whittle it down into an under-two-and-a-half-hour feature film.
