I’m proud to say that I’ll be working with NewMediaWebinars.com and presenting a webinar about DSLR post-production on June 22, 2010. The session will begin at 10:00 am Pacific (1:00 pm for the east coasters) and lasts 90 minutes. The webinar is free to attend live but the best value is the...

I love Mac’s. They’re like my car. I put the key in the ignition, turn it, and it starts. I’ve just received a copy of Avid Media Composer 5.0 – it’s a bit like Christmas! I’ve had a chance to try some of the big new features – AMA linking to RAW RED media and Canon DSLR clips, but it’s going to take me a while to dig right into the new features – I may even have to read the manual!

When Action 3D Productions hired an editor to cut the concert film Phish 3D, it made sense that they’d go to Don Wilson's Americana Media. Wilson is an Emmy-winning producer-director-editor whose experience in the industry stretches back to the early days of MTV, when he was cutting promo clips for any number of top-tier acts.
