As the appetite for content grows (and film and television productions continue to send creative teams all over the world to shoot), the ability to get all creatives in one place at one time to collaborate becomes more challenging and more expensive. DaVinci Resolve 15 Crash Course

      October 19, 2018, 5:37 am
DaVinci Resolve is quickly becoming the hottest NLE on the market, which isn’t surprising since you can download a copy for free with access to 90 percent of its features. However, while most free versions of programs like this offer a simplified form of the premium version, DaVinci Resolve does not. As a result, loading up the software for the first time can be very daunting.

Why Premiere Pro Will Never Have Magnetic Timeline

      October 18, 2018, 12:14 pm
I’m the last person to tell you that Premiere Pro is better than Final Cut Pro (or the other way around) as I’m on Windows and have never used Final Cut Pro. But this video is not about which NLE is the best. I just want to address the topic of the magnetic timeline.

The Walking Dead (Season 9) (2018)

      October 18, 2018, 12:14 pm
A ruined, decomposing world picked clean by those who remain, harshly rendered frame by frame. Out of that decay comes something new, driving he carrion-eaters away, holding them at bay… for now. For its ninth and latest season, AMC’s much beloved horror series The Walking Dead received a revamped title sequence. This completely new introduction — in both style and setting — sets the stage for the next chapter of the post-apocalyptic zombie saga — and the exit of one of its major characters.

First Man's VFX and Using Archival Footage

      October 18, 2018, 8:42 am
Watching Damien Chazelle’s First Man offers the earthbound viewer the chance to finally realize they don’t have the right stuff. For folks of a certain age, becoming an astronaut used to be one of the coolest possible professions, the kind of thing you said you wanted to be when you were little and didn’t know what engineering was. Or math. Or physics. And, most crucially, you didn’t realize how insanely dangerous it is.
