Lucky for us, very easy. With the desired camera angle selected in the multigroup, press Match Frame. You will see the multigroup icon above the Source Monitor change to a group icon. Press Match Frame until the icon changes from a group icon to a subclip icon and eventually to the master clip!

In true Avid fashion, there are two ways to make subsequences. Once you have set IN and OUT points, you can do either: Click and drag the sequence icon from the Record Monitor to a bin -OR- After mapping the Make Subclip function to your keyboard or workspace, press or click the Make Subclip button.
