Woke up and my producer came out wearing a shirt that read: "But what I really want to do is direct", couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Lauren Woodcock (Cutting Room Producer) and I (Gordon Burkell) have landed and we're now trying to find food. The trip was much shorter than the six hours we were told. Mark Livolsi might not be able to be interviewed tomorrow due to a screening. Here's hoping his screening goes well. It's 3:37AM in Toronto and 12:37AM here in LA. Time to find some food and get ready for tomorrow.

So here I am on the bus heading back to Toronto and I have twelve hours to spare so I should recap what happened on Saturday. Unfortunately, Thelma Schoonmaker didn’t make it to the panel, which upset a lot of people. However, the ACE handled this well, they had everyone stay at the end of the day for Pizza and Beer. This gave the students and assistants there a chance to mingle and get their name out.

I met with Michael Berenbaum today at 3PM. The talk went great! He's very engaging and open! I met him at 3PM and then found that the DGA didn't have WIFI. So, I went looking for a Starbucks (for WIFI). The one time... The one time I need a Starbucks I can't find one. When I do find one, they have a very different approach to allowing their US customers use the WIFI. I would have to pre-sign up online????? Anyways, you'll hear the interview soon.

After twelve hours on a bus we've arrived in New York for Edit Fest. It was quite the ride, it all started when we got into Buffalo and I was pulled off the bus! They accused me of not having a ticket. The problem stemmed from the fact that Canada and the US weren't discussing the new ticket structure Greyhound Canada has implemented. After that every stop we made someone would come on board and talk to me about this ticket. No one, I repeat, no one, not even the other passengers had this ticket! Calls were made, tickets negotiated etc.
