SONY will be putting on an HD Creation and Workflow Online Expo. Everything will be done online allowing you to take part from the comfort of your edit suite! The event takes January 15, 2009. If you go in person things start at 9:00AM if you take part via the web things start at 1:00PM EST. They have a range of panalists such as Dennis Dillon, Doug Jensen and Curt Pair. Take part and make sure your questions are answered!

Yesterday, The Art of the Guillotine's office was flooded. The office is also Gordon Burkell's edit suite. We will be attempting to maintain daily updates as well as Cutting Room Podcasts. We are sorry if things aren't updated as much but we are currently attempting to save computers and files. Including a film we were cutting. In the coming days we will post photos of the destruction for you all to see. Please keep emailing us with updates for the site and we will keep adding them as fast...
