Why We Make That Edit-part 1 of 4

    December 10, 2011, 8:19 am
We put together this panel of experienced editors to discuss why we make the edit, not how. With over 100 years experience on the panel, there is a lot to learn about the creative process here. Mark Goldblatt, Feature Editor: from Piranha in 1978 to Rise of the Planet of The Apes in 2011. Andrew Seklir, Episodic TV Editor: Battlestar Galactica, Warehouse 13. Derek McCants, Reality TV Editor: Big Brother, Sarah Palin's Alaska.

Trailer: Trash or Treasure Part 2

      January 30, 2010, 8:27 am
Most of us have contradictory attitude toward trailers. Trailers are a bonus - we get to see a part of another film - for the price of seeing the movie we just paid for. They help us get in the mood for the feature. We can use them to reject a movie and save ourselves time and money. They can also be refreshers, helping us relive and remember a movie.
