Fremont, CA - February 25, 2015 - Blackmagic Design today announced that Matthew Vaughan’s big screen adaptation “The Secret Service” was finished on DaVinci Resolve by Goldcrest Post colorist Rob Pizzey. Set in the world of British super spies, it stars Colin Firth, Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson.

In the early 1900's, the Autochrome photographic production process utilized an additive colour process on glass plates, the procedure used coloured potato starch as a grain layer and created fantastic image results that give the impression of being a painting. Blackmagic Design is proud to announce that color correction for all of these films was done on DaVinci Resolve. “20 Feet From Stardom,” which won this year’s Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, was also completed using Blackmagic Design’s Teranex 2D Processor.
