    Thursday Night's Intro!

    June 12, 2010, 11:17 pm
    Edit Fest NY 2010

Hi All - Tomorrow's when everything's set to begin; I'm very excited to be able to pass along some stories, tidbits and experiences from EditFest NY 2010 - so a big Thanks to the Art of the Guillotine for allowing me to do this.

Tomorrow night we've got the general intros as well as the "Lean Forward Moment" where editors discuss editing their favourite sequences - Michael Berenbaum, Joe Klotz, Andrew Mondshein, Susan Morse and Andrew Weisblum are being moderated by Norman Hollyn for this one.

For Saturday we're got Documentary Editing, Anatomy of a Scene, Cutting Yourself Out of a Corner, and the editors of Avatar discussing their 2 year process.

Scheduled to speak are Lillian Benson, Geof Bartz, Milton Ginsberg, Geoffery Richman, Jean Tsien, Alan Heim, Bobbi O'Steen, Josh Apter, Mark Livolsi, Sabrina Plisco, Thelma Schoonmaker, Allan Title, Vincent LoBrutto, Stephen Rivkin and John Refoua.

I hope you guys enjoy the posts and I will try and get as much info to you as I can. Please feel free to drop me a line at jjn@digitallygone.com before/during/after the event and I will try and get to you as soon as I can.
