The CPUG Network have announced the Sixth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam. The Amsterdam SuperMeet promises to be the single largest gathering of Final Cut Pro, Adobe, Avid and Autodesk editors, gurus and digital filmmakers during the 2013 IBC Show. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the SuperMeet web site.
Los Angeles CA / Boston MA - The Creative Pro User Group Network (CPUG
Network) today have announced the Sixth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take
place on September 15, 2013 at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of
Amsterdam during during the 2013 IBC Show. Doors open at 4:30PM (16:30) with
the "SuperMeet Digital Showcase" featuring over 20 software and hardware
developers. SuperMeet Presentations will begin at 7:00PM (19:00) and
continue until 11:00PM (23:00). Tickets are on sale online for the Earlybird
price of €10.00 each plus ticket fee and €7.00 for students and Teachers
with valid ID.
The full agenda will not be announced until shortly before the event date,
however there will be USER driven presentations by Blackmagic Design, Adobe,
Autodesk and iZotope and much more.
Rounding out the evening will be the always wild and fun "World Famous
Raffle," where currently over €20,000 worth of valuable filmmaker-related
prizes, including a Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera, will be handed out to
dozens of lucky winners.
Doors will open at 16:30 with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase featuring over
20 software and hardware developers including Autodesk, Blackmagic Design,
Avid, Adobe, Atomos, Pond 5, G-Tech, iZotope, Noise Industries, Media
Machine, Maxon, Future Store, B&H, SAE Institute, Red Giant Software,
FilmLight, Imagine Software, Lightworks, Shutterstock, Socrates Digital and
others. Here, attendees can enjoy a few cocktails, mingle and party with
industry peers, network one on one with leading manufacturers and learn
about the latest trends in collaborative editing workflows for post
production and broadcast markets.
Tickets are on sale for the “Earlybird” price of only €10.00 each (Earlybird
ends August 15) for Adults and €7.00 for students and Teachers and are on
sale online only. It will be €20.00 each at the door. Food (snacks) and

GIGABYTE has announced the addition of two new AMD EPYC compute nodes to their RACKLUTION-OP line. These new products are based on the Open Compute Project's Open Rack Standards, a set of open source hardware design guidelines originally created by Facebook then adapted into an open source project in 2011. The TO22-Z61 and TO22-Z62 feature dual AMD EPYC Naples processor sockets for compute nodes with high core counts and memory capacity. The new models have flexible storage options (including all flash or mixed SATA / SAS + flash), up to 3 additional PCIe expansion slots, and each node can fit into a three bay, 2OU tray.
