Blackmagic Design today announced that The Flying Kick Asia, a Singapore based boutique production house, has chosen to shoot their upcoming set of short films using the URSA Mini Pro, with color correction done with DaVinci Resolve Studio and the DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel. The second of four films, "Sarah," a Hari Raya themed short film, was shot and completed production in a single day.

Blackmagic Design today announced that Mark Todd Osborne, founder and senior digital colorist of MTO Color Inc., conformed, graded and finished the new independent film “A Little Something for Your Birthday” using a DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel alongside DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Blackmagic Design today announced the new Cintel Audio and KeyKode Reader accessory for its Cintel Film Scanner, which lets customers scan audio and KeyKode information along with images from the scanner, all in realtime. The new audio and KeyKode reader accessory is available for $3,495 from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide.

Blackmagic Design announced today that TV Tokyo’s new drama series “Izakaya Fuji,” which begins airing this July 8th, was shot using two Blackmagic URSA Mini 4.6Ks as the A and B cameras, as well as Blackmagic’s Video Assist and Video Assist 4K and SmartView 4K. On-set and final grading for the series was done using DaVinci Resolve Studio 14 and the DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel.
