    VFX Producer Rebecca Ramsey Dies at 53

    April 6, 2020, 1:10 pm
    Visual effects producer Rebecca Ramsey, who lent her skills to blockbuster spectacles including films in the Harry Potter and Hunger Games franchises, died March 7 from complications related to a fall in her home. The news was shared by Ramsey’s longtime friend, Jenny McShane. She was 53 years old.

      How John Williams Struck Back

Three years later, its first sequel dealt with larger stakes and fiercer battles, the production essentially mirroring the scope of the film’s plot.       Another Great 1917 VFX Breakdown

      With the film now out on DVD, Blu-ray etc. for you to watch at home in all its glory, you might be on the lookout for some more behind the scenes goodness to see how Sam Mendes and co. brought this magnificent WWI movie 1917 to the screen. There is some stuff on the DVD and Blu-ray but there has been so much pop up online from the various VFX production companies that helped bring some of the magnificent set-pieces to the screen.
