This article is mostly geared toward freelance filmmakers, as we are the ones who field calls for various film jobs and projects on a regular basis. That doesn’t mean that people who work for studios, large production companies, or various union workers don’t need to weigh the options when considering future employment but saying yes, or no to job prospects is a way of life for freelancers.
