As a follow up of the release of Pro Tools 2019.6, Avid has released Eucon 2019.7 with an improvement to the “Open Windows on Workstation Attention” setting introduced in Eucon 2019.5 as well as a number of bug fixes.

Chris Waegner began his career in visual effects in 1992 at Boss Film. He then worked at Warner Digital and Pacific Title before joining Sony Pictures Imageworks in 1999. He worked on a number of films such as WATERWORLD, MARS ATTACKS!, SUICIDE SQUAD, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING and JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE.

When I was in college taking a course on film production, the Instructor gave each of us an assignment. Drawing inspiration from Dogme 95 He told us to think about our personal philosophies on filmmaking and then to write those viewpoints down in our own filmmaker’s manifesto. I enjoyed the exercise and think it’s an important one for every filmmaker to undertake. Even if you don’t formally write anything down, just thinking about your own voice and the films you like to make can be invaluable in finding stories that you are passionate about.

Hollywood captures its audience through action films, romance tales, drama-filled hours and comedy specials. Actors bring the stories to life, directors guide the creative process, producers ensure the lively hood of the production and the editors tie all the pieces together. Without them, there would be rough cuts of the best cinematic footage leaving the viewers to imagine what the final product would look like.
