Avid posts 11 million second quarter net loss

Avid (NASDAQ: AVID) today reported revenues of USD161.3 million for the three-month period ended June 30, 2011, down slightly from USD162.2 million for the same period in 2010. Avid reported a net loss of USD11.9 million in the quarter, compared to a net loss of USD12.9 million in the year-ago quarter.
