Autodesk's, Marc Hamaker, talks about editing on Smoke on the Mac. While the system is undeniably as finishing tool, Smoke also features a full-blown editor, enabling uncompressed 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 output, and a host of capabilities not found in a standard editing application.
