Edit with Final Cut Pro X during playback

I've been cutting with FCPX since it was released in June, and hadn't figured out that you can do this crazy on-the-fly editing. A lot of this stuff is undocumented. And using these techniques to select on the fly really speeds things up regardless of whether you're editing a tv news cast of a web video.
