Back in 2012, I wrote about many editors’ frustration about iPad video editing apps that (back then) unfortunately did not respect alpha channel in logos they imported, to allow for translucency. Most producer/editors I know who edit 1080p video capsules for the web demand this capability, especially for their lower thirds.
