STUDIO CITY, CA — On February 15, 2015, The Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) will honor supervising sound editor/re-recording mixer Skip Lievsay with its 2015 MPSE Career Achievement Award. Lievsay won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing for his work on Gravity (with Niv Adiri, Christopher Benstead and Chris Munro) and has contributed to nearly 150 films over the course of a career that spans more than 30 years.
