It all depends what you mean by the Cloud, of course. If you mean "the internet" then, yes, the Cloud's been with us for a long time. But the internet isn't the Cloud, and the Cloud isn't the internet. The Cloud is about sharing, storing and working together. The Cloud is smart technology, on-demand.
