Blackmagic Design today announced the Blackmagic eGPU, a high performance graphics processor for pro creative software such as DaVinci Resolve, 3D games and VR. Blackmagic Design announced today that Japanese post production company Upside rebuilt their studio around Blackmagic Design 12G-SDI technology. As part of their upgrade from HD to 4K60p support, the company installed DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel, DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel, Teranex Express, DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G, Smart Videohub 12G 40x40 and Videohub Smart Control.#blackmagic design#davinci resolve#4k#12g-sdi

Fremont, CA - September 21, 2017 - Blackmagic Design today announced that multiple Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cameras and Video Assists were used to shoot the web movie for new LEXUS car, LC500. It was shot by Kei Takahashi, a Cameraman and founder of Tokyo-based KID Co. Blackmagic Design today announced that Nina Chadha, Local 600 D.I.T., used DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel and DaVinci Resolve Studio for on-set color grading on commercials for Pepperidge Farms and Virgin Mobile. With the upcoming release of mac OS this month, it’s been announced that Final Cut Pro 7 will no longer be supported. To assist FCP 7 editors, we have prepared a short video that outlines the similarities between editing in DaVinci Resolve 14 and Final Cut Pro 7. This video also introduces many of the features that will help you get started with DaVinci Resolve 14. New features include up to 10 times performance increase, Fairlight audio built into DaVinci Resolve, and multi user collaboration tools that let multiple people edit, color and mix audio from multiple systems, all in the same project at the same time. Blackmagic Design today announced a new DaVinci Resolve 12.5.2 update for its professional editing and color correction software. DaVinci Resolve 12.5.2 features support for additional URSA Mini camera metadata, color space tags on QuickTime export, Fusion Connect for Linux, advanced filtering options and more.
