Autodesk acquires Scaleform

What's Scaleform? Scaleform is a user interface provider of tools and middleware for the games industry and they are known as a creators of Scaleform GFX which allows development teams to more quickly and easily author game UIs and interactive 3D experiences using popular design tools: Adobe Flash and Adobe Creative Suite software. How much Autodesk paid for it (them)? $36 milion in cash sources say. Why?
