Avid reported that its revenue for the second quarter of 2012 was USD157.4m, down 3 Percent versus the same period a year ago, and up 3 Percent versus the previous quarter. The GAAP net loss for the second quarter was USD39.0m, or USD1.01 per share, compared to a GAAP net loss of USD11.1m, or USD0.29 per share, in the second quarter of 2011.
