Avid "Tape" metadata linking

I have been on the quest to have the Avid automatically change the link to essence method from "Source File" to "Tape" metadata. This would fix a major issue in what I like to call "Now-Proof and Future-Proof". A solution, a batch method much like how one can use merge import option with an ALE. Visuals (picture/file based/tape-less/non-tape sources), AMA and what I like to call legacy "File>Import" do not display populated metadata in the "Tape" column of the Avid bin for master clips by defaul...
