On July 24, Southpaw, directed by Antoine Fuqua, shot by Mauro Fiore, ASC, edited by John Refoua, ACE, and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, will open in US theatres through The Weinstein Company. A story of about a boxer who goes down in defeat and fights for redemption, the film is also about a man losing his family and fighting to regain it. CineMontage had the chance to speak with editor John Refoua, ACE about his work on Southpaw.
