Los Angeles, CA (September 12, 2016)—Chris Stone, a founding partner in the Record Plant recording studios and figure in the music recording industry for nearly 50 years, suffered a heart attack and massive stroke and died on September 10 at the age of 81. Stone was a music industry executive with a list of credits that included hit records, films and leading music service businesses and professional associations.
