I went to law school like many students lost after college," recalls American film editor Richard Chew who attended Harvard Law School. "It didn’t ignite me intellectually." Inspiration was found elsewhere. "I saw this film that made a monumental impact on me called Nothing But a Man [1964], an independent film made by a couple of young mavericks. It's a love story about a young African American couple in the South set in the social context of the time.
