Interview with film editor Sally Menke, 1953-2010

Back in 2004 I had the pleasure of meeting Sally Menke at her home to discuss film editing. She was just fresh off her work on Kill Bill and was getting ready to fly out to London for a BAFTA nomination. She was also in the middle of moving to New York, boxes scattered throughout her living room. I was then writing for a trade magazine with a focus on editing. Ms. Menke and I chatted for a few hours and the result was the below interview.
