New York, NY – January 21, 2016 – Adorama, one of the world’s largest photography, video, audio, imaging and electronics retailers, is now selling the brand new Korg minilogue, a fully programmable four-voice polyphone analogue synth with 200 editable presets. A groundbreaking release for the audio manufacturer, the minilogue features a 16-step polyphonic note and motion sequencer, arpeggiator, and delay, among a number of highly requested features, all for the incredible price of $499.99.
Adorama Learning Center expert Brian Trahan offers an inside scoop on the new Korg minilogue saying, “As you can see, this synth seems to represent a tremendous step forward in affordable, accessible, analog synthesizers. It is competitive with newer synths that cost much more, and is just so intuitive. My favorite features are definitely the fully analog four-voice polyphony … the cross-modulation, and the motion sequencer (and the fact that it may be subsequently stored with the user preset). […] this is a seriously exciting instrument for the affordable synth market, and I expect that it will do exceptionally well for itself on the shelves.â€
Billed as the next-generation analogue synthesizer for musicians of all types, the Korg minilogue has a new Voice Mode that enables users to choose how the four available voices are configured, from Polyphonic to Duophonic, Unison to one-note Chords, and so on. Allowing artists to visualize the music they are creating, the synthesizer’s OLED display features a real-time real-time oscilloscope, providing functional visual feedback for the sound being played. The display also offers helpful information on presets and editable parameters.
The extremely functional Korg minilogue is praised not just for its incredible capabilities as an analogue synthesizer but also for its sleek, stylish and modern design. Boasting a curved, sand-blasted aluminum panel, real Pyinkado wood back panel, solid, chassis-mounted metal shaft potentiometers and rubber-coated knobs, the minilogue will impress in both sound and looks.
Korg’s minilogue made its official debut at Adorama’s exclusive Pre-NAMM event, held on Thursday, January 14th at the Adorama Live Theatre at CBS RADIO New York. For more information on the Live Theatre, please contact Abby Hessney at email@example.com.
