Durante el 20º BAFICI, que se llevará a cabo entre el 11 y el 22 de abril de 2018 en Buenos Aires, la SAE junto a la EDA (Asociación Argentina de Editores Audiovisuales) entregarán el Premio al Mejor Montaje de Película en Competencia Oficial Argentina.El jurado está compuesto por César Custodio (SAE), Carlos Cambariere (EDA) y Laura Bua (SAE), y el ganador recibirá una licencia de Avid Media Composer cedida por SVC.
