Thanks Apple. This is the BIG one that I've been patiently waiting for. Apple have released the next version of Final Cut (10.0.6) and I couldn't be more excited about this update. Seriously, this is huge. I've been an editor for almost 20 years now and I'm more excited about the 10.0.6 release than any piece of software I can remember.#fcpx#final cut pro#apple#update

Ever since Apple blew up the happy world of FCP 7, we've been running into more and more people moving to Adobe and Avid. Adobe's been pretty good. I like them a lot and their support guys (I'm talking to you Bruce) have been awesome.#avid#fcpx#adobe#fcp7#media composer#mc6#mc#apple

Editor's note: After seven years working with Apple's Final Cut Pro, we have decided to begin using the Adobe Production Suite. We were early adopters of FCP 7 and considered making the switch to FCP X. In the end, we felt more comfortable with Adobe's product than Apple’s FCP X.#fcpx#adobe#cs6#fcp7#final cut pro#apple

It's no secret that Apple has neglected to update the Mac Pro line in any significant way since 2010. In fact, both the iMac and the Macbook Pro have gotten a few major revisions just in that time span, and many have turned to building Hackintoshes to satisfy the growing need for professional equipment (and to save a few bucks). We’re getting word from CEO Tim Cook that one should be coming in 2013, but the details have been vague.#fcpx#final cut pro#pro#apple#future
