USB 3.0 is quite new and not many computers are fitted with support for it. There are some USB 3.0 Host Adapters available, however their speeds might be different for each model. The video below shows a test of two adapters, CalDigit and Lacie. The CalDigit card was 20% better on Read and 40% better on Write speeds when compared to the Lacie card. Check out the video...
