Dale Grahn, who is what used to be called a Colour Timer in the days when there was no digital colour processing, has created the colour "look" of some seminal films of the last couple of decades: Saving Private Ryan, Gladiator and Munich. The new features are mainly situated in the domain of audio support, better file relinking management, codec support, and advanced features. How often do people really take the time to explain the real basics? With stuff like colour correction, while you can and should rely on your eyes and a good, colour-calibrated monitoring system, you also need to make sure that your graded output is technically OK, or it might be rejected by your client...#colour#correction

Technicolor has released a USD99 color correction tool called CineStyle Color Assist. Says Vincent Laforet, "The beauty of this software is that it allows you to do only as much as you want, or need to.
